Cartilage



Cartilage
Its tough, smooth and strong. It is located on the ends of the bones that move across from each other to stop friction and acts as a shock absorber. It is found in many areas in the body including, joints, elbows, knees and ankles. 

What can damage cartilage?
Lack of movement, you can really damage your cartilage if you do not make it move. 
Obesity, 
Wear and tear, 

Damage results in bones grinding against each other as they move over each other. Can lead to arthritis. 

Arthritis
There are two types of arthritis, osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Osteoarthritis is a painful joint disease that can damage the hips, neck, lower back or small joints in the hands. It is caused by wear and tear, which is when the cartilage breaks down. Rheumatoid arthritis is an inflammatory disease that usually involves various joints in the fingers, wrists, elbows, knees, feet and ankles. It is when the joints in your body inflamed and you will have minimal movement.

Ligaments are the things that holds the bones together, 
tendons are the things that hold the muscles to the bones,
muscles are responsible for the movement of the human body.

Centring Exercises 
Centring exercises are good for posture, releasing tension, developing focus and concentration, uses stillness, controlled movement, isolate body parts. Examples of centring exercises are... Spine roll, pendulum and zen rock garden. 
It gets air into your lungs because you are breathing. 

Visualisation
Visualisation is using the power of imagination everyday. You can use visualisation when you have a test, imagining that you are on a cloud floating, 

Improvisation 
You can use improvisation to create a performance of some sort. 

Why is laughing good for you
Laughing can decrease your stress hormones.

Social well- being is all around you, and there are many ways to show social well-being. For example, you can see all around you, people with positive relationships with their families. They are all lovingly spending time with their families. You can improve your relationships too! All you need to do is to say "I LOVE YOU" that's all you need to do. Saying I love you everyday is proven to increase endorphin's which makes people more happy.
